JAWA 350 CL – A New Generation of the Classic “Kývačka” / JAWA 350 CL 42
Stronger, more robust, yet still elegant and stylish — that’s the JAWA 350 CL. Its mission is to enhance the beloved and commercially successful JAWA 300 CL. What are the main differences? As the name suggests, it features a new-generation engine with a larger displacement of 334 cc, the same as in the JAWA 350 CL Pérák and JAWA 350 CL Bobber. But the engine isn’t the only upgrade. A redesigned rear swingarm with reinforced dual springs improves handling, especially on winding country roads at higher speeds compared to the previous JAWA 300 CL model. The motorcycle also has a slightly increased ground clearance, addressing a limitation some riders experienced with the 300 CL generation.
JAWA 350 CL 42
Connoisseurs of our domestic brand’s history will surely vividly recall the sensation caused among motorcyclists by the arrival of the sportier-looking JAWA 350/362 Californian. Compared to the previously offered “panelka” models (such as the JAWA 250/559 or JAWA 350/360), it introduced a visually lighter, more dynamic, and sportier motorcycle.
A similar innovation is now brought by the JAWA 350 CL 42. The new generation of the 42 series, like the base 350 CL model, is built on the same technical foundation but features a newer and more powerful engine, combined with a sportier and lighter design. Once again, it boasts a separate headlight and an eccentrically positioned speedometer. New design elements include a reshaped fuel tank, raised exhaust dampers, and cast wheels that complete the sporty look. There’s nothing left to do but experience it firsthand!
